If you have made it to the other side, you will need to enter one of the wool rooms in the wool houses. To be able to Capture wool you will need to get to the opposing team side, and in order to that, you need to cross the map and get around opposing players, which is not that easy. You can earn gold when killing players from the opposing team. You can buy kits and items from the shop using gold. You will either be placed on the Red Team or on the Blue Team. A message will pop up in chat if you have successfully captured some wool.
The objective is to bring all of the opposing teams wool to your base and capture it. This can be helpful because you won't be killed as easily, giving you a higher chance of capturing an enemy wool. Hardening Perk - You gain Resistance I when you have an enemy wool. This can be very helpful because you would be able to easily kill enemies, but at the same time get through any defenses they've built up! Haste Perk - You gain Haste II near enemy wool rooms. This is a good perk for everybody overall as well. T his can be very useful because you may be a more defensive player, and you can easily kill wool holders once they go out of wool houses. You can get a total of +15% increased damage against wool holders in one game. Strongarm Perk - When you get a kill on a wool holder, your overall damage against wool holders will increase by +3%. This can be very helpful when you need to kill that enemy that is about to get the wool captured, and you are just fast enough to do so, and when you're the one holding the wool so you can get away from the enemy as quickly as possible. The Last Stand Perk - Your walk speed increases by +10% when near an enemy or wool holder. This can be very helpful when you're bringing back some wool from the opposing team to your side, and you need to out rune the enemies. You can get up to +20% walk speed in one game. The Heist Perk - Every time you pick up a piece of wool you get +4% walk speed. These can be very helpful, especially when it's the breakable map, and you need to overcome obstacles quickly. Perks are very expensive add-ons that will last you the whole game. The shop is managed by the shopkeeper who sells a variety of items. If there's an armor piece on the ground which is better than what you're currently wearing, you will automatically equip it. You get to keep this equipment until you next die. You get this to buff yourself up on the way back to your base, so you have a better chance of capturing the wool you're carrying. You can get a diamond chestplate if you manage to get to a wool room, and are carrying wool. If you like building, this kit would be your favorite. If you're better at defending your base with blocks I definitely recommend this kit, as you have more than enough oak wood blocks (320). A LOT of blocks won't come in very handy if you're out and about fighting, because if you have either the Archer or Swordsman kit, you are already equipped with 192 blocks of oak wood.
If someone has stolen some wool, you can see this in the bossbar:ĭefinitely a more defensive kit. The opposing team will also have to try to get some of your bases wool, but you aren't allowed to enter your own wool room, so you will have to try to shoot them down with your bow. There is Yellow and Orange wool, belonging to the Red Team, and Green and Aqua wool belonging to the Blue Team. If your team has captured all of the opposing teams wool, you have won. If you die, you lose the wool, and you won't get it back unless you go back to one of the wool rooms. Upon entering, you will be greeted by a pile of wool on some sea lanterns, this is called a "wool fountain", you will need to pick these up, and get back to your spawn without dying. These are located on the left and right sides of their base. For example, buttons, you can place them on the ground and walls so nobody can place blocks anywhere, resulting in the enemy not being able to block you. You can craft anything with the wood blocks you have.
You start off with the starter kit (See below in Kit Section).
